We hope to visit Cape Verde at the end of September or the beginning of October. We like visiting the local villages and experiencing the local cultures as well as having some time on the beach. What is the best island to visit. We will be staying for 2 weeks

Hello Peter,
Great that you are planning to visit Cape Verde. We love your way of enjoying your holiday. Your question about which island to visit is one of the hardest questions we often get. Every island is different and everyone likes different things. If possible, consider to visit at least 2 different types of islands to get most out of it. You can check the information per island and make your own decision if it is worth visting for you or not.

I’ve stayed several times in Riu Funana Hotel, just outside Santa Maria on Island of Sal.
Extra space rooms available for equipment we need. Swimming pool is accessible too.
All waiter/waitresses can’t do enough to accommodate our needs.
So I’d recommend here.
