How do I get to Carbeirinho?
The rock formation of Carbeirinho lies in the northwest of the island of Sao Nicolau. It is located about 16 kilometers west of the road that connects the city of Tarrafal de Sao Nicolau with the town of Praia Branca. Along this main road there is a road sign towards Carbeirinho. Via an upaved road you get to the coast in less than ten minutes by car or in 20 minutes on foot. The rock formation can be reached via a safe staircase down.
